The term Habbal also has Arabic linguistic roots. Historically, the surname Habbal (or Al-Habbal) is understood to refer to a “rope maker” or “cord maker.” Symbolically, a rope is often associated with support, connection, and the act of assisting others—reflecting the idea of “holding the rope” for those in need. In addition, the term has been interpreted in some contexts as meaning “a gift of God” or “given by God,” reflecting themes of compassion, purpose, and responsibility toward others.
The Habbal Foundation is an independent entity. It is not affiliated with, associated with, or acting on behalf of any individual, family, group, or organisation bearing the name “Habbal,” and it does not solicit or accept funds on behalf of any such party.
